This GAJET cycle is coming to a close. Thank you to the ⭐spectacular⭐ 2024-2025 team for all your hard work and dedication to making Gunma a fun and welcoming environment to those in and outside of Gunma! The elections results have come in and the new 2025-2026 GAJET is here and we are excited to bring you lots of spectacular events this year, starting with the Farewell Beer Garden this Weekend!

Farewell Beer Garden 2025
Before we welcome the new ALTs, we have to say goodbye and send love to those who are going back home this year. Join us at URBAN EARTH BBQ on the rooftop of Takasaki Montres in July 12th so that we can give the JETs that are leaving a starry sendoff!
Event Details
When: Saturday July 12th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (2 hours)
Where: URBAN EARTH BBQ Takasaki Montres
Take the elevators near Pronto on the Takasaki Station fool to the roof. If you leave the front doors of the station, you’ve gone too far!
Reservation can hold up to 40 people, so FIRST COME FIRST SERVED
Price: Korean Course (w/ alcohol ¥4,450, non alcohol ¥3,950)
For no additional cost, you can bring in your own vegetables and meat to roast! If you have a special diet, please feel free to bring as much as you like!

Maebashi Tanabata Festival
Although it feels like our closest star is trying to cook us, this fun festival is a celebration of love amongst the stars! This year, the festival will be held from July 11th to July 13th. This festival is located in central Maebashi and is easy to get to from the station! Enjoy the beautiful decorations and make a wish at this colorful and fun festival! Serada Gion Festival
Come and see the gorgeous floats and enjoy some amazing festival food at the Serada Gion Festival. Just a 10 minute walk from Serada Station, this festival is easy to get to and will surely be a good time! For more information, click here!
