DESCRIPTION:Join us this October for an invigorating hike up Mount Koasama! This 4.0-km out-and-back trail\, located near Kitasaku\, Nagano\, offers stunning views and a moderately challenging adventure. The hike takes approximately 2 hours and rises about 250m to the summit at 1655m above sea-level. While the trail is popular for snowshoeing in winter\, we will enjoy a crisp autumn trek through beautiful\, peaceful surroundings. \n\n\n\nSign up here! \n\n\n\nHike Details: \n\n\n\n\nMeeting Location: Mount Koasama Trailhead\, next to Mine-no-Chaya\n\n\n\nMeeting Time: [TBC]\n\n\n\nEstimated Duration: 2 hours\n\n\n\nDifficulty: Moderate\n\n\n\n\nWe will set out together\, and from the top\, enjoy panoramic views of the magnificent Mount Asama. If you need assistance with transportation\, we can help arrange carpooling options. \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring: \n\n\n\n\nComfortable hiking shoes\n\n\n\nWater and snacks\n\n\n\nWeather-appropriate clothing (October can be chilly!)\n\n\n\n\nPlease RSVP by the 23rd of October.
