Gunma Games is the ultimate 運動会 experience for all ALTs\, CIRs\, and foreign residents living in Gunma Prefecture. The day consists of various challenges\, events\, and games where you will compete to win points for your team. You do not have to be an athlete to compete however  – there are plenty of events to go around. The team with the most points will win the ultimate prize – THE GOLDEN CABBAGE! 🏆 \nThe four teams are Haruna\, Myogi\, Akagi\, and Asama. This year’s teams will chosen at random. We will be revealing the teams a few days before the event starts. PLEASE TRY TO WEAR YOUR TEAM’S COLOUR IF POSSIBLE.\nHaruna is blue 💙\nMyogi is yellow 💛\nAkagi is red ❤️\nAsama is white 🤍 \nYou do not have to compete to attend! Gunma Games is an all-inclusive\, friendly competition with a variety of rounds (including throwing cabbages\, trivia\, races\, and more). There is something for everyone. If you have any friends\, family\, or acquaintances who want to come and cheer everyone on\, they are more than welcome to join as well. \nWe ask for a ¥300 donation to help support our volunteer organisation. This is the perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful nature of Minakami and meet new people\, making it the ideal event for new JETs and veterans alike. \nSaturday evening is packed with fun games\, and topped off with a mouth-watering barbeque! \nOn Sunday morning\, join GAJET on an hike for all levels finished off with a relaxing soak in Takaragawa Onsen\, with opportunities to see Doai station\, the deepest train station in Japan! \nThe cost of ¥8000 is inclusive of the GAJET fee\, accomodation at the lodge and the Saturday evening bbq. There is an additional\, optional fee for breakfast and the onsen. \nSign up via this google form. \nThe deadline for signups is September 17th at 11:59pm \nThe deadline to withdraw is Friday September 22nd at 12pm
