Event Information:

Do you know an inspirational, exceptional, and motivational Japanese teacher of a second language? Or, do you know a Japanese community member who deserves special recognition for their dedication to increasing international awareness within their community? Perhaps, you even know of an outstanding, highly involved AJET chapter.

National AJET's Teaching Awards Programme recognises the exceptional language teachers with whom JETs work. Nominations and inquiries for this should go to education@ajet.net.

National AJET's Internationalisation Awards Programme seeks to acknowledge members of the Japanese community who work to promote International Awareness in Japan. Nominations and inquiries for this should go to cir@ajet.net.

The AJET Awards Programme recognizes the outstanding contributions that have been made in the last year to local communities by AJET members. Nominations and inquiries for this should go to block3@ajet.net.

Nominations for all three Award Programmes can be made by JET Programme participants, from 2nd February to 2nd April 2010. Further information and nomination forms can be found in the “Services” section of the National AJET website, http://ajet.net.
Winners will be announced on 16th April 2010.
