Hello Gunmanians,
The "most wonderful time of the year" is almost upon us, and in the holiday spirit, GAJET would like to help those who may not have holiday plans.

Living in Japan can at times be difficult. The holidays can heighten that difficulty, as we often spend the holidays with our families back home. For some, this may be your first holiday away from home. For others, this is another holiday spent away from home, but for some reason, it's different. Ghosts of Christmases past and feelings of loneliness may come knocking at your door.

GAJET would like to help anyone stuck in this situation. If you're alone at Christmas, and don't want to be, we'd like to do our best to help you out.

It could be for one of any number of reasons. You may just be too busy. You may have had plans that fell through, or have intended to go on a trip that never really materialized. Perhaps, many people you know are going home and you either don't want to or couldn't afford to.

Whatever the reason, don't suffer in silence - please talk to your region rep, or email other GAJET members who are also finding local ways to celebrate the holidays.
