snowboard season?

hey guys, we've got some friends coming to visit in November who really want to go snowboarding. does anyone know when snowboard season begins in minakami? wil it be open by/on the long weekend at the end of november? how about in nagano? and if it is, can you recommend a good cheap-ish place to stay? thanks!

Snowboard season starts
Snowboard season starts towards the end of October usually, but that of course depends on the weather. Don't know about places to stay though. Only ever done day trips aside from Canyons lodge.

Snowboarding usually starts early November but it kinda depends on when it starts to snow obviously.
As far as places to stay, theres tons of hotels. You might wanna try hotel Jaraku. I live here so I never stayed at any hotels here but that one is right by where I live and also right near Minakami station, and I live 10 mins drive from both Norn and Okutone
