Anyone have a Tennis racket you want to get rid of?Submitted by Heart of Sword on Wed, 2009/07/08 - 23:10.
Hey guys, im planning on hitting up the tennis club at my school over the summer vacation (along with other sports clubs) - If any of you have a tennis racket laying around that you might want to toss out or give away, please send it my way. As long as it's in proper working order, I'll be glad to take it off your hands :) I'm in Takasaki, btw. But I'll bike out to wherever you are (so long as it isnt on the outskirts of Gunma (lol, im crazy, but not THAT crazy) to pick it up. :) Thanks! |

Soft Tennis?
One thing about JHS tennis is that since the balls aren't real tennis balls but those weird semi-balloon things, the rakets are a touch different. I know you can't use soft-tennis rackets in regular tennis, but I don't know if the opposite holds true. I think the main difference is a bit of width and regular tennis uses stronger stringing. So, you could use a regular racket but it might cause your kids to call "zuru~i".
