This site is useful for when you can't figure out what the reading of the kanji is:
http://www.kotoba.ne.jp/
If you're like me, who can't figure out what some of the kanji reading is online, then just simply copy and paste it to the website above.
*P.S. Here's another site I use often for translations and example sentences:

Do it!
Please post any other good recommendations for Japanese studying if you have any!
Red Kotoba
Kotoba make a sweet iPhone app too. And if you get the Shin-kanji app, you can directly write the kanji via touch screen.
The Catch
But first, you gotta have a sweet iPhone like us!

...wanker!!
Please don't hate!
Haha
Firefox?
If you're using Firefox, you might want to invest your time in downloading Perapera-Kun or Rikai-chan instead. No need to copy and paste, just hover over the word and you have the reading/definition at your fingertips. Space ALC is great for example sentences and usage though.
Thanks
Thanks Ben,
Which one would you recommend though? Perapera-kun and Rikai-chan?
p.s. for Mac users too.
Great Japanese Study Tool
I find Japanese Person really good too. There are different models so you'll need to think about which is best for you. Older ones tend to be better with Kanji and Honorific Japanese, whilst newer versions have a vastly improved user interface. There are also some new releases with bi-lingual capability but, unfortunately I am unaware of any model with direct-kanji-input, although most have a "scan and read" function. They're really easy to come by if you wish to use Japanese Person. There are over 130 million units worldwide with the greatest concentration in Japan. I highly recommend Japanese Person for improving your Japanese level.
Certainly Japanese people
Certainly Japanese people are the most skilled at Japanese, but if you're asking about kanji, you should conduct a simple test to make sure your unit functioning properly.
Ask the unit to write "gokigen" using three kanji. If the unit uses any of the following: "ご", "気", "元," there is a high risk of a factory defect.
Josh-kun
Yo Josh, you just killed this thread..... AGAIN!
You have way too much time at work dude! LOL
